A Walking Tour of Historic Academy St.

I got inspiration for this post from one of my favorite bloggers, Rhoda over at Southern Hospitality

as she shared a recent historic home walking tour.

A favorite street in my hometown has always been Academy St.

For years I have driven up & down this street but, I had not walked on this street in years.

I walked Academy St recently and fell more in love!

I will just let you stroll thru and enjoy these beauties!

This is a duplex and it's adorable!

This house is my daughter Ella's favorite.

For those from Mooresville, this home was the daycare of Mrs.Combs for many, many years.

I think most of the older generation went thru these doors daily.

My Favorite!!

It's small but, so cuddly looking and that front door is to die for! Check out the ivy.

 If anyone knows who

lives here please let me know, so I can become friends with them.

This home is currently on the market  UNDER CONTRACT. Congrats Annabelle!

See a tour of 354 Academy St here.

Several houses are for sale on this street but, I am almost certain that they are out of my price range.

A girl can dream though!

The day I walked Academy St it was a warm day, you could hear birds singing, music playing from

some homes, a kids pirate birthday party was being held and the smell of burgers filled the air.

I wonder if this is what it would feel like all the time, if you lived on Academy St?
